DMCA Copyright Policy

If You Believe Your Copyrighted Work Has Been Published Without Permission

We respect the intellectual property rights of copyright owners and take copyright concerns seriously.

Most of the content published on our website including our SEO tools, games, articles, guides, and help pages is created and maintained by us. However, some of our website reports are generated from publicly accessible web pages submitted by users.

When a user submits a public URL for analysis, our system may collect and display information available on that page, such as page titles, meta tags, text excerpts, and, in some cases, screenshots. This information may be made available through a public report URL.

If you believe that copyrighted material belonging to you appears on our website without authorization, you may submit a DMCA copyright infringement notice requesting that the material be reviewed and, where appropriate, removed.

To help us process your request quickly, please provide complete and accurate information identifying the copyrighted work and the exact location where it appears.

How to Submit a DMCA Notice

Please email webscorechecker@gmail.com with the subject line “DMCA Notice”, or use our Contact Form with the same subject.

Your notice should include all of the following:

1. Your contact information - Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work - Describe the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed. If you are reporting multiple works, you may provide a representative list.
3. Exact location of the material - Provide the complete URL on our website where the allegedly infringing material appears. If the material appears within a generated report, please provide the specific report URL rather than only our homepage.
4. Good-faith statement - A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, the copyright owner's agent, or applicable law.
5. Accuracy and authorization statement - A statement that the information provided in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
6. Signature - Your physical or electronic signature.

Providing all of this information is important. A general complaint without the specific URL or sufficient information to identify the copyrighted material may not be enough for us to investigate the claim.

What We Host

• Our original content: Our SEO tools, games, articles, guides, and other original website content are created and maintained by us.
• Generated SEO reports: Reports may contain information retrieved from a publicly accessible webpage submitted by a user for analysis. If your concern relates to the original live website, you should generally contact the website owner. If your concern relates to a screenshot, excerpt, or other content stored within one of our reports, please provide the specific report URL.
• Browser-based tools: Some of our tools, such as PDF converters, encoders, and similar utilities, may process files directly in your browser without uploading them to our servers. Where files are not stored on our servers, there may be no hosted copy available for removal.

What Happens After We Receive a Complete Notice

Once we receive a complete copyright complaint, we will review the information provided and determine the appropriate action.

If we determine that the material should be removed or disabled, we may take appropriate steps to restrict access to or remove the material.

A takedown or removal does not constitute a legal determination that copyright infringement has occurred.

Where appropriate and where contact information is available, we may notify the person who submitted or generated the material about the complaint.

Counter-Notice

If material has been removed or disabled as a result of a copyright complaint and you believe the removal was made in error or that you have authorization or a legal right to use the material, you may submit a counter-notice to webscorechecker@gmail.com.

Your counter-notice should include:

1. Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
2. The exact URL or location of the material that was removed or disabled.
3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
4. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal district court and agreeing to accept service of process from the person who submitted the original copyright complaint.
5. Your physical or electronic signature.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed material in accordance with applicable copyright law, unless the original complainant takes appropriate legal action within the applicable statutory period.

Repeat Infringement

We reserve the right to take appropriate action against users who repeatedly submit or publish material that infringes the copyrights of others.

Such action may include restricting access to report-generation features, disabling specific report pages, suspending accounts, or refusing further submissions from a particular source.

Do Not Submit False Copyright Claims

Please submit a DMCA notice only if you are the copyright owner or are legally authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Submitting a knowingly false or misleading copyright infringement claim may have legal consequences. Please ensure that all information provided in your notice is accurate and complete.
